Some devices won’t show the Track # field written by MediaMonkey for Windows for WAV tracks. This occurs because some devices expect an uppercase tag (like Windows Media Player), whereas others expect a lowercase tag (the default used by MediaMonkey).
If this is an issue for you:
- Close MediaMonkey for Windows (so that it doesn’t overwrite any of the changes)
- Back up the MediaMonkey.ini file.
- Open the MediaMonkey.ini file inside a text editor such as Notepad
- Add the following lines:
[WAVTagging]
UpperCaseITRK=1 - Save the MediaMonkey.ini file.
- Start MediaMonkey for Windows
Any subsequently written tags will be compatible with your device.
