If attempts to lookup artwork consistently fail, this can be due to:
A) Recent changes to the formatting of looked up artwork has caused the Artwork lookup to fail. Upgrading MediaMonkey to a release with a fix for this will resolve this issue:
- If on MediaMonkey for Windows 5.0.4 or 5.1, upgrade to MediaMonkey for Windows 2024 for a fix.
B) Corruption of the ‘GPUcache’. A fix/workaround is expected in the new builds described above, but for now:
- Close MediaMonkey for Windows
- Open Windows Explorer and navigate to:
C:\Users\<Username>\AppData\Local\Temp\GPUCache
(where <Username> is your Windows Username) - Delete the contents of the directory
- Restart MediaMonkey for Windows
Note: Upon initiating new image search, you may be prompted to accept a cookie in MediaMonkey’s internal browser (this behavior is location-dependent).
